During her career with the State, Michelle Allen worked for The Department of Education, The Employment Development Department, The Employment Training panel, The Department of General Services, The Department of Technology Services, and was “on-loan” to the Governor’s Office.
She started teaching classes on how to Get a State Job and conducted consultations prior to her retirement from the State and now teaches and consults full time. She provides customized seminars, workshops, and job fairs for outplacement firms, colleges, and businesses. In 2011 she wrote a book on the subject.
